You'll probably know by now that the first home grant has been cancelled, and Kianga Ora cannot take any further applications.  If you have a valid approval they will honour it, but they can't extend applications that have expired.  All is not lost though, and while this reduces your deposit, it is worth reaching out to us to see what options are available to you.  One bank will do a loan with a 5% deposit for existing customers and there is still the First home loan (using your kiwisaver as 5% deposit) available if you've been in kiwisaver for 3 years or more.
